To rock or not to rock.....

So I'm having a dilemma about this whole kick everyone's on about voting. I'm not sure if I'm right or not but I don't feel like people should vote unless they have some idea about what they're voting for. I don't really want people going out and just picking someone on the ballot just because they have a cool name or they're of a certain race or any crap like that. It's actually kinda scary. The reason for this sudden concern is a commercial I just saw where Drew Barrymore is out asking people if they vote and stuff...So now I'm sure all those people will go out and vote for some random guy just because the chick from ET told them it was the cool thing to do...

So the semi-conclusion that I've come to in the five minutes that have passed between seeing the commercial and now is that the message shouldn't be "vote, even though you have not one clue what's going on" but maybe something more like, "figure out to some extent what you believe, find out which candidate comes closest to agreeing with you, and THEN maybe it's time for you to vote".

All I know is we don't need a reenactment of the recent events in Clayton County, which I don't feel like going into right now.

Frightening what enough ignorant people can pull off when they set their minds to it.
