Without a hint of irony....

So I'm taking bowling this semester to push my hours up to the nice even 12 I need in order to keep my health insurance.....Today was a lesson in bowling safety. Now, the "professor" is a serious guy. He's been in a league and his top score is nearly perfect...He calls himself Double A, which I think this is a very clever nickname for a guy who has both first and last names beginning with, you guessed it, the letter A. Anyway, so he's up there at the top of the lane talking about shoes and how not to step over the line....Then he gets to the part about not sticking your hand in that thing that shoots the balls back out....

"If you put your hand here it'll get stuck between two balls. And that'll hurt....because these balls are REALLY hard."

Now I'm not one to giggle at "balls" jokes like a 13 yr old boy in sex ed. but the fact that ole AA genuinely saw nothing funny about what he just said....I couldn't handle it.

Ok, now I'm embarrassed.
